Freefall

Created to coincide with the Dunedin Writers and Readers Festival, 'Freefall' features important works of art from the Hocken pictorial collections combined with gems from the Hocken's other holdings and significant works of art from the Dunedin Public Art Gallery and the University of Otago's Embellishment and Special Collections. 'Freefall' offers an opportunity to explore the connections between these rich collections, the creative relationships between artists and writers, and the use of image, narrative, text and the word in art and print-based media.
